Filoli Flower Show CALL FOR ENTRIES “Flowers always make people better, happier, they are sunshine, food and medicine to the soul.”  Luther Burbank For those who love to arrange flowers, please accept this invitation to participate in the 2008 Filoli Flower Show. You will have the choice of creating a glorious bouquet, a dream table setting, an imaginative garden vignette or sharing your special plant collection. Excellent floral display locations are available throughout the House. Special features of the Show include table settings by professional designers, children’s dried miniatures and bouquets, and vignettes in the garden. Please note: There will be no judged divisions. Information for Participants Amateur Floral Designers: Information and Site Selection Meeting: Monday, February 11, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., Ballroom of the House. Details: Show format and guidelines will be discussed and the designers can select their sites. To register for February 11th meeting, please print and complete the Interest Form and mail to the Filoli Flower Show, 86 Cañada Road, Woodside, CA 94062. Children’s Floral Display Entries: Children can exhibit in two divisions: Bouquets and Dried Miniatures.  The Filoli education program Children’s Miniature Flower Arrangements on Saturday, May 3 teaches children how to create a dried miniature arrangement for entry in the Show. Professional Designers and Retailers: To be an exhibitor as a Professional Designer, outdoor exhibitor, creator of a table setting or vignette, please contact us. Horticulture Societies: Displays of specialized plant specimens and collections are of great interest to our visitors. Please contact us for information regarding your participation. Plant Collectors: To share your collection of plants, please contact us. Participating in the Show is a great experience.
