 Filoli’s Visitor and Education Center.Filoli is available for private lunches, meetings, educational seminars and other similar events.
Reservations can be made six months in advance, space permitting.
Rental fees include admission during open hours, parking and other amenities.
Filoli is NOT available for fundraisers, auctions (live or silent), political events, parties, celebrations, weddings or commitment ceremonies. Please see this list of Local Wedding Venues.

Depending upon availability space can be rented in January as well as February through late October.
To check the availability of your preferred day, please contact Filoli’s facility rental coordinator.
Lecture Hall:
The Filoli Lecture Hall in our Visitor and Education Center is available January through October. Below times given include any setup and teardown for your event. Please note that Filoli closes promptly at 5:00 pm. All guests and workers associated with the event must be off the property by 5:00 pm, unless evening rates are applied. |

AV Technicians are not on call for special events. AV reservations are for equipment only.
Additional AV needs may be rented by the renter. Please inform Filoli of audiovisual rental company being used at least two weeks prior to event.
Outside companies may not use Filoli equipment. |
Outdoor Dining:
The Bourn Tennis Court is available May through September. Times given include setup and teardown. Please note that the Filoli closes promptly at 5:00 pm. All guests and workers associated with the event must be off the property by 5:00 pm,
Otherwise significant charges take effect.
Lunch is setup on the tennis court overlooking the beautiful Woodland Garden. Limited shade; umbrellas available by advance request. (The Lecture Hall is also reserved for backup in the event of rain.)

General Information for All Rentals
Insurance:
A current certificate of commercial general liability insurance (or other comparable broad form general liability coverage for bodily injury, personal injury, and property damage claims) in the amount of $1,000,000 is required. It must be issued by a provider licensed to do business in the State of California and must cover all additional insured listed in Filoli’s Rental Agreement.
Deposit for Damage fees:
A credit card number should be filed with Filoli for any damages that may occur during your event.
Rental Guidelines:
- It is the responsibility of the renter to identify one event coordinator as the sole contact for Filoli prior to the event.
- Rental agreements cannot be transferred or assigned.
- At no time can any part of renter’s activities infringe on the experience of other guests at Filoli.
- Only Filoli approved caterers may be used. Please see Appendix A.
- No tape, nails, tacks or pins may be placed on any walls or flat surfaces.
- No outside plants or flowers are allowed on Filoli property.
- White wine only may be served.
- Service animals only are allowed on the property.
- SMOKING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED ANYWHERE ON THE PROPERTY.
