We offer a variety of tours to help enrich your Filoli experience. All tours are free with the price of admission. Prepaid advanced reservations are recommended, especially during April and May.

Groups at Filoli are considered 12 or more. Our group rate is $12.00 per person.

House & Garden Tours

Led by docents, these tours are approximately 2 hours. An hour spent in the House and an hour in the Garden. The walking is a casual pace as the docents talk about each area. Tour times are Tuesday – Saturday 10:00 am and 1:00 pm. During April and May there is an additional tour at 11:30 am.

Orchard Tours

Docent led tours of our Gentlemen’s Orchard are offered June through October by advance reservation. These tours are offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:30 am. This tour is approximately one and a half hours and requires sturdy footwear.

Nature Hikes

Saturdays mid – February through October, except during the month of August. We offer Docent–led nature hikes by advance reservation. These hikes are at 10:00 am and last approximately 2 hours. This hike is on varied terrain; at times it can be strenuous. Please discuss any physical limitations with your docent before you head out. Children must be 5 years or older and accompanied by an adult.

Dining Options

Groups of 8 - 20
For your convenience the Café at Filoli offers you the opportunity to order box lunches. This gives you designated seating in the Café. The price is $15.00 per box lunch. The box includes a sandwich, side salad, brownie/cookie and beverage. A 50 deposit is due at booking. Final order and non–refundable payment is required two weeks prior to visit. Picnicking is not allowed at Filoli.

Filoli is NOT available for fundraisers, auctions (live or silent), political events, parties, celebrations, weddings or commitment ceremonies.
