Filoli Guided Tours, Hikes, and Walks

We offer a variety of tours to help enrich your Filoli experience. All tours are free with the price of admission. Prepaid advanced reservations are recommended, especially during April and May.
Groups at Filoli are considered 12 or more. Please call Visitor Services for group rate information.
House & Garden Tours
Guided by Filoli volunteer docents, these tours last approximately two hours. An hour is spent in the House and an hour is spent in the Garden. The walking is at a casual pace as the docents talk about each area. Tour times are Tuesday through Saturday at 10:30 am and 1:00 pm. During April and May there is an additional tour at 11:30 am.
Nature Preserve Hikes
Filoli offers a wide range of hikes and walks through its Nature Preserve throughout the year for adults, families, and groups. For more information, see the flyer, Filoli Nature Experiences for Friends and Families (PDF 448K) and Filoli Nature Education for Schools (PDF 449K).

Instructor: Filoli Nature Education Docent
Adult Fee: $10 members; $15 non–members. Child Fee: $5 members; $10 non–members. Child fee is good for ages 5 through 17. Children 5 and older are welcome; for safety reasons (narrow, steep and rocky) strollers and wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on the trails.

Led by Filoli Orchard Docents
Fee: FREE for members: non–members $20 adults, $10 children. Children 7 and older are welcome. Non–member fee for morning walks includes same day admission to the House and Garden. For safety reasons (narrow, steep and rocky) strollers and wheelchairs cannot be accommodated in the Orchard.
*Orchard Walks are also available during our summer program, Discovering Nature at Filoli and during Autumn at Filoli Festival on September 27.

Did you know that Filoliís Nature Preserve has more than seven miles of well-maintained trails crisscrossing six different types of native California habitat? Join experienced Nature Education Docents on a 2Ĺ hour hike to explore and learn about our natural landscape and wildlife. This is a hike on varied terrain; at times it can be strenuous. Please discuss any physical limitations with your docent before you head out. Strollers cannot be accommodated on the trails. Children 5 and older are welcome; for safety reasons (narrow, steep and rocky) strollers and wheelchairs cannot be accommodated on the trails.
Fee: Free for members or with paid admission to Filoli. Admission prices: $18 adults, $15 seniors (65 and older), $8 students.
*Except on Special Event days.
