Saturday, April 4 at Filoli a mother-daughter team of floral designers taught the popular Children and Families’ class Family Fun With Flowers. All of the children who took the class are invited to enter a floral arrangement in the Mother’s Day Weekend Filoli Flower Show that takes place May 7 through May 10, 2009.

Each of the children in class was asked to help us with our first Filoli Scrapbook page by completing this statement: “I love my mom because . . .”

We hope that you enjoy the photos below and especially the many reasons these girls love their moms.

I love my mom because she always takes care of me. She prepares my food for dinner, lunch and breakfast. She takes me to school everyday, and she also helps me with my homework. She's so special to me, and she loves me for me! I love her so so much!.
