Summer Surprises

Friday, August 5 and Saturday, August 6

The summer garden is full of brilliant colors, tasty foods, and wonderful aromas. Flowers abound in the Garden, fruit is bursting from the trees in the Orchard and wildlife is busy everywhere. The sights, smells, and tastes of the summer garden are a treat for the senses. Join us for two days of talks, walks, demos, and hands–on fun while exploring the bounty of the summer garden as presented by our knowledgeable Filoli instructors, staff, and volunteers.

While visiting don’t miss the stunning collection of Sculptures in the Garden, the inspiring needlework exhibit, Stitched in Time, in the Visitor and Education Center, and Fashionable Filoli, a historic costume display in the House. On hand to answer your gardening questions will be the Garden Information Docents in the Garden and Gift Shop courtyard and the Orchard Docents in front of the Visitor and Education Center.
