A Season of Blooms, Beauty, and Unforgettable Moments
This spring, Filoli comes alive inside and out. Wander 16 acres of gardens carpeted with tens of thousands of tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths bursting with color, then step inside the Historic House as it awakens for the season with fresh floral designs and spring-inspired décor. From flowering trees and fragrant cherry blossoms to elegant rooms filled with blooms, every corner feels like a discovery waiting to happen.
Member Mornings return this spring. On weekends from February 28th to May 31st, members can reserve a 9–10am spot to enjoy the spring blooms ahead of the crowds!

Spring at Filoli brings a wealth of colorful blooms to shake off those winter blues. From tulips and magnolias to wisteria and cherry trees, Filoli's Gardens flourish with vibrance as the days grow longer and the weather warmer.

Celebrating Spring
Embrace the spirit of spring with a spirited kick-off weekend
March 7 | 10am–3pm
The Northern California Hanfu Association fills the Garden with pop-up performances in celebration of Chinese Floralia—a festival honoring the goddess of flowers. Relish in the beauty of historical Hanfu fashion and traditional Chinese music among the blooms. Come dressed to impress in your Hanfu fashions and take photos at our photo vignettes across the Garden.
The Northern California Hanfu Association is dedicated to preserving and promoting traditional Chinese culture. They bring the elegant cultural heritage from their ancestors to the multicultural community in the Bay area.
Performances will take place at 11am, 12pm, 2pm, 3pm.

Grab some friends and have fun with flowers. In this laid-back, hands-on experience, Filoli’s Floriculture team will show you how to turn fresh spring blooms and greenery into a gorgeous arrangement to take home.
Sip on light refreshments, get a little creative, and soak up the garden in full bloom. No experience needed, just come ready to have fun and make something you’ll love.

Get outside. Learn something new. Make a difference.
Service Learning at Filoli is a hands-on way to spend time in the gardens while picking up real skills from our expert team. Each session combines a short learning moment with time working alongside staff to care for the estate. Come once or come back anytime. No long-term commitment. Service Learning is a free program, just reserve your spot.
This spring, help mulch the Formal Garden, maintain scenic trails, and get Filoli ready for summer. It’s a feel-good way to be outdoors, meet people, and leave knowing you helped keep this place beautiful.
